Cáceres

Way of a small town called Brozas and after passing by Caceres, something in the landscape that draws my attention and makes me look like this land is special. Life boils everywhere. The large uncultivated areas where cattle graze offer a great show of flowers and grasses mixed with granite pins protruding from the land here and there. Sometimes the rock appears as whale rocks showed the back between the seas of grass on which the wind also draws waves. And on each stone fence on each stone prominently on every light pole and in the sky continuously observe birds. White Storks, Black kites, Booted Eagles, Cuckoos, European Rollers, Hoopoes, Corn Buntings, Larks, Azure-winged Magpies. The pastures are all the most spectacular yet. Cáceres is not green in spring, is colored. And that combination of color, life and rocks, it can make you lose your head.

Three field days were shared with my friends and colleagues of brushes of the Spanish Association of Wildlife Artists that have left a trail of several watercolors and numerous field sketches. This time, the landscapes ..
