A few days ago I finished this oil. I witnessed this backlighting one afternoon last May in an area of Sierra Morena, in the Parque Natural Sierra Norte de Sevilla and I tried to show in this painting. A stone wall, the lush vegetation that has given us this spring, flowers and a cornbunting singing late in the afternoon, so I called Sunset song. It is both an homage to that magic hour when the day is more relaxed, and the trend is slowly and peacefully, those hours that so many good times have given me.
