International Birds of the Strait Fair

These are some of the new watercolors and oil paintings exhibited in the second edition of the Tarifa Birdfair. In this edition all exhibitors have showed our work in a common area and I think the change has been worthwhile.

European Bee-eaters. Oil on paper board. 68 x 37 cm.

Sanderlings. Watercolour on Arches paper.  62 x 26 cm.

Sandwich Terns. Watercolour on Arches paper. 60 x 26 cm.

Sandwich terns and waves. Oil on paperboard. 62 x 27 cm.

Red legged Partridge. Watercolour on Arches paper. 46 x 24 cm.

The robin garden. Oil on paperboard. 74 x 33 cm.

Juvenil of Auodouin´s gull. Watercolour on Fontenay paper. 46 x 34 cm.

It was a pleasure to spend three days with my friends and teachers of the brush and the sculpture Antonio Ojea (Potri), Chiqui Diaz, Javier Ayarza, Nacho Zubelzu and Luis Cuaresma.
I would like to thank to the organizers and especially to Beltrán de Ceballos for all the facilities and resources at our disposal for this fair.
And of course to friends and anyone who went through our artist corner to pass the time between birds of bronze and paper.
